Matthew Blankenship ('24) is a Political Science major with a Criminal Justice minor on the pre-law track. He is a student in the Honors Program as well as the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core. Matthew currently works as a Research Assistant for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the public policy and advocacy wing of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has spent two summers as a law clerk at Rivera Hernandez Campos PLLC, a San Antonio law firm dedicated to immigration and personal injury law. Matthew has also served as an intern at the Law Office of Walter Reaves PC, a Waco criminal defense firm. Throughout his time at Baylor, Matthew has worked as a BIC Peer Instructor and currently works as an undergraduate writing consultant at the University Writing Center. After graduating in Winter of 2024, Matthew plans to attend law school beginning in Fall of 2025.
