Mika'ele Castro

Mika’ele Castro (‘24) is a Political Science and English major with a pre-law designation from Newnan, Georgia. As a two-semester participant of Baylor Undergraduate Moot Court and one of three co-founders of the Baylor Undergraduate Law Review, Mika’ele is devoted to pursuing legal scholarship and sharing this passion with others. As a Bob Bullock Scholar, he spent the entire Spring 2023 semester in Austin, where he was awarded the William P. Clements Legislative Scholarship from TCCRI, by immersing himself in legal policy as a Legislative Aide for the office of Senator Mayes Middleton (SD-11) throughout the 88th legislative session. Furthermore, Mika’ele is employed as a Baylor Experience and Admissions Representative, where he conducts tours and hosts campus visits for prospective students and their families. Following his graduation in May of 2024, Mika’ele will attend law school in preparation to pursue a career in appellate advocacy.
